605 Service discontinued
Unfortunately, due to a number of commercial factors, the 605 service has become unsustainable and can no longer continue operating. The last service will operate on Friday afternoon 12th March 2010
Southern Cross Transit has for many years operated a school bus services from various suburbs in Brisbane’s west to and from St.Peters Lutheran College, Somerville House and Anglican Church Grammar School. This service has been provided by Southern Cross Transit on a voluntary commercial basis and is NOT operated under contract to the Queensland Government and as such is NOT directly funded by them.
Some students have been issued with a Southern Cross Transit Part Pass that offers discounted travel under the Queensland Governments Student Travel Assistance Scheme to their closest state schools. These passes will no longer be valid and should be returned to Southern Cross Transit as soon as possible. We will be notifying Queensland Transport that the funding we received under this scheme will no longer be required.
