Update on Mt Crosby Road Detour

We would like to provide an important update regarding the ongoing detour on Mt Crosby Road. As you may already be aware, the southbound overpass over the Warrego Hwy remains closed for repairs. Transport and Main Roads has confirmed that the closure will continue for at least the next 4 weeks.
We understand the impact this is having, particularly on students traveling to Ipswich and West Moreton Anglican College. Unfortunately, this situation is out of our control, but we are working hard to manage the detours for the remainder of this term.
Our drivers are closely monitoring traffic patterns to determine the quickest detour routes. Depending on the day, this may include Blackwall Road/Kholo Road or the Warrego Highway to Dinmore and back. Please note that these routes can fluctuate with traffic conditions, so the quicker option may change daily. We’re doing everything we can to keep things moving efficiently.
We apologize for any delays students are experiencing in arriving to school, and we are actively monitoring the situation. The schools have been kept informed, and we will continue to update them as needed.
Looking ahead, if the works on the overpass extend pastthe June/July holidays, we are already working on contingency plans. This includes considering earlier pick-ups to ensure students can arrive at school on time.

See below for your school runs current plan. Please keep in mind that the times on this are best case scenario and can be later based on the traffic of the day. If your school run is not listed here, then it is not directly affected by the bridge closure, however, it may still be caught in conjestion due to the change in traffic patterns.
