Commuter Services

CityLink Bus Services - Southern Cross Transit regretfully stopped operating any commuter or shopper service in 2009 due to lack of government support and red tape, however, the following services are provided by the same agencies that will not support our previous and proposed services...(click here for a copy of our previuos CityLink timetable)

TRANSLink's FlexiLink- Karalee, Chuwar & Barellan Pt - FlexiLink is a maxi cab service operated by Yellow Cabs in Ipswich and the surrounding suburbs. The vehicle is wheelchair accessible with a 'FlexiLink' sign to distinguish it from other maxi cabs Ipswich and surrounds FlexiLink brochure (PDF, 384 KB)

  • How much does it cost? - adults: $2 (cash) per trip concession: $1 (cash) per trip - concession eligibility. 

  • Fares are paid to the driver when a passenger boards the service.

  • How to book - To book a FlexiLink service, contact Yellow Cabs on 1800 882 662. This is a free call on all landline phones. Mobile phones will be charged their normal call rate.. You can book two hours before you travel.

 

Brisbane Council's Personalised Public Transport - Karana Down & Mt Crosby - This service runs Monday to Saturday, except public holidays. Download the Karana Downs PPT route and timetable

  • The first trip departs Mt Crosby Road past Tanderra Way, then in an anti-clockwise loop to College Road, Karana Downs Golf Club, College Road, Tanderra Way, Mt Crosby Road, Hawkesbury Road, Sugars Road, Kangaroo Gully Road, Moggill Road (including Moggill State School) to the Bellbowrie 444 BUZ stop, then back to Karana Downs. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis.

  • In the afternoon, the service departs on Moggill Road, Bellbowrie back up to Karana Downs via Sugars Road and Hawkesbury Road to Mt Crosby Road past Tanderra Way, then on an anti-clockwise loop to College Road, Karana Downs Golf Club, College Road, Tanderra Way, Mt Crosby Road, Hawkesbury Road, Sugars Road, Kangaroo Gully Road, Moggill Road (including Moggill State School) to the Bellbowrie 444 BUZ stop. The first few trips wait at the Moggill State School, Monday to Friday. Later afternoon services wait near the Bellbowrie 444 BUZ stop for travellers from the 444 BUZ route. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis. Leaving times are only a guide.
